My World Light Up (Candle) - Valentine's Card
I have created a limited number of hand-created cards, for those looking for something a little different to the shop bought card this Valentine’s Day.
Gouache and watercolour with hand stitching details on my favourite, textured, 100% cotton rag paper.
Each card is A6 in size, blank inside and comes with a recycled brown paper envelope and a striped twine bow.
I’ve always considered card giving as a bit of a sacred act and particularly love hand-made cards which in some way elevate the meaning of the words within that card. I love how they make the recipient want to hold onto that card - attach it to a pin-board, stick it in a scrapbook, tuck it into a keepsake folder, to be forever treasured.
